| Description: |
Terrain: |
| The Chilkat Valley in Haines Alaska is unique because it stretches across many miles of mountainous terrain. Skiable terrain begins at saltwater and ends at the Canadian border 40 miles up valley and away from salt water. This creates 5 different micro climates in the region which provide many different heliskiing options for weather, snow, wind events, and avalanche conditions. We can always find the goods somewhere in the the region and the sun pops out somewhere just about every day. At any rate, the mountains in Haines are world class, just ask a pro whos been here |
