Description: Alaska heliskiing was the first heliskiing operation in Alaska and has successfully guided customers down the legendary slopes of Alaska since 1992. Sean Dog has been Heliskiing in Alaska for 20 years and the guiding staff is blessed with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Film and magazine crews make the majority of tracks down the legendary runs in Haines, Alaska. Our base of operations is a melting pot of professional skiers and snowboarders and free skiers and boarders that find there way to haines are heliskiing with their favorite pros! Professional Snowboarder Tom Burt is one of the lead guides and the entire staff is highly trained and very professional. A typical day of skiing starts out with the Film and Magazine crews at daybreak getting the golden light. Around 9:00 a.m. free skiing starts and regular fun hogs like yourself ski as many runs as they can until around 5:00 p.m. One more Film and Magazine crew session ends the day and the helis return to base right before sunset. When sunlight conditions are not perfect for filming or taking photos the media circus hims and haws about the weather and the day is all about free skiing and boarding deep alaska pow. Private helis are also available by the week.
