Charter flights are possible. It is possible to drive to Bella Coola. There is only one road in and out and it takes about 10 - 12 hours from Vancouver and 15 hours from Calgary. This would be mostly winter driving on secondary roads. The daily shuttle leaves Vancouver South Terminal at 10:30 AM. It arrives in Bella Coola Just before noon. From the Bella Coola Terminal we escort you to the hotel, get you checked in, have some lunch and get ready to ski the same day. It is possible and we encourage our guests to come ready to ski for the afternoon the first day.
Year-round services: Why Us:
We can offer river sport fishing, natural hot springs tours, coastal forest tours, First Nations art and culture, fish hatchery tours, weather permitting ocean boat tours. Aside from the great skiing and terrain, the setting is incredibly unique. Aside from the fact that there are still hundreds of runs never yet skied, and there is glaciation and huge open and gladed skiing to be had, we have now the opportunity to offer a ship based private operation. From many of our skied runs you can see the inlets that lead to the ocean 200 km away. Also, the ship base is for small intimate groups of 8. And for five days you can high-grade almost any and all of the terrain we have in our tenure. We have the best refund policy in the business. All our guides are ACMG, IFMGA or UIAGM guides with Wilderness First Aid training. We have been in the heli skiing business for thirty years. We have skied and explored with the icons in the industry. This will be our third year of offering skiing service in Bella Coola.
