Trip cancellation insurance is mandatory (?, recommended?) and can either be purchased privately or in some cases directly with the operator. Some will ask you to sign a waiver stating you have trip cancellation insurance. Considerations should also be given to heli-evac insurance and again can be purchased through a broker or in some cases directly with the operator.
