Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is located in Blue River, BC, in the heart of the Cariboo and Monashee mountain ranges, where the warm air from the west meets the cold dry air from the north and creates more than 10 metres of perfect powder each winter. With more than 1,200,000 acres of ski terrain and over 1000 runs, guests can enjoy the majesty of the high alpine glaciers as well as the forested valley glades. |

| In our fleet, the Bell 212 serves two guides and ten guests, the Bell 407 serves one guide and five guests while the Eurocopter A-Star B2 provides service to one guide and four guests.

The 22,000-sq. ft. main lodge is home to our Powdermax Dining Room where fully trained chefs take pleasure in pleasing both the eye and the palate. The Silver Buckle Lounge, Boutique, Games Room, and Fitness Center are all also located in the main lodge. Newly renovated, the Fitness Center provides guests with access to 50 Nautilus machines, a stretch room with a 34’x45’ suspended hardwood floor, seven massage rooms, whirlpool, and men’s and ladies’ change rooms complete with showers and sauna. |

| Typically we ski/board 8-10 runs (approximately 17,000 vertical feet) each day. The type and number of runs as well as the length of the skiing day are determined by snow conditions, weather, time of year, and groups ability. On days with excellent weather, we ski more to maximize your enjoyment and skiing time.

Accommodations at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing range from standard rooms to luxury and private chalets. Our chalets range form two to six, double-occupancy bedrooms, each equipped with private bath and telephone. As well, all chalets feature a fully equipped kitchen and living room with large stone fireplace. In selected chalets, additional amenities include satellite TV, VCR/DVD, internet access, in-room safe, sundeck, Jacuzzi tub & steam shower.

| Blue River is situated a comfortable 2.5hr drive north of Kamloops, BC, via Hwy #5, making the Resort easily accessible by car or bus. Air Canada offers non-stop daily flights from Vancouverand Calgary, where a host picks up guests on our courtesy shuttle bus. Powder Express which is a scheduled direct flight from Vancouver to Blue River that runs on Saturdays during our winter season |

Blue River has access to beautiful cross country trails. Our Sports Shop has cross country skis and snowshoes available for guest use.

Snow quality (10M/yr, 1.2M acres), safety and ski experience - MWHS pioneered Unlimited Vertical - there is no additional charge for skiing. 2 guides per group of 10 in the Deluxe Package offering safety and security.
