The combination of world-class skiing and riding and luxurious lodging places Ruby Mountain Helicopter Skiing among the premier helicopter skiing operations in North America. The opportunity to ski and ride with us while enjoying the Ruby Mountains when conditions are at their peak limits reservations to the month of February and March. Each exclusive tour accommodates a maximum of 16 individuals. The three-day package tour includes 39,000 feet of helicopter lift as a guaranteed minimum. Open bowls, tree skiing and chutes. The Ruby Mountains Range is a narrow range 60 miles long and 10 to 12 miles wide, located east of Elko, Nevada. Lamoille Canyon, a U shaped canyon in the heart of the Rubies, is known as Nevadas Yosemite because of the hanging valleys, towering peaks and year-round snowfields above it. The Rubies feature 10 peaks above 11,000 feet including 11,387-foot Ruby Dome, and more than two dozen alpine lakes.
