Description: In the world of heli-skiing, the northern Cariboo Mountains and the Canadian Rockies are legendary. An abundance of dry powder, immense open bowls, spectacular glacier skiing, and gladed trees await our guests. This terrain is exclusive to our company - we do not share it with any other heli-ski company. Imagine, a maximum of 20 skiers in one area measuring over 1,500 square miles! When you ski with us, you can be assured of the intimacy of a small group atmosphere with emphasis on exceptional skiing and boarding, combined with first class lodging and service.

Since 1992, our guests like the idea of only 20 people per week and also the idea of the higher level of service that comes of having two guides per group. They like our terrain, our snow conditions and the small group, intimate atmosphere of our lodge. We ski in two mountain ranges, the northern Rockies and the northern Cariboos, giving us great flexibility in different types of weather and snow conditions. We have alpine bowls, glaciers and spectacular tree skiing. We ski in two mountain ranges, the northern Cariboos and northern Rockies, giving us great flexibility in different types of weather. At Crescent Spur, we ski immense open bowls, spectacular glaciers, and gladed tree skiing. Runs vary in length from 1500 to 4000 vertical feet. We have over 1500 square miles in our license, in two mountain ranges, with over 200 runs, with new ones being added each year!

Location: Closest Major Airport:
Located in the valley between the Northern Rockies and Cariboo mountains, in a very small community called Crescent Spur. Most guests fly to Prince George, our nearest airport. Air Canada and West Jet provide nonstop service from Vancouver International Airport.
Standard Packages Offered: Packages Include:
We offer 5 day/6 night and 6 day/7 night packages. We offer a semi private package, which is 20 persons, skiing in two groups of 10, each group with 2 guides. Our Private Group packages are one group of up to 10 guests with exclusive use of lodge, helicopter and terrain. They also have two guides. So - each week is run EITHER as a semi private week or a private week. Individuals and small groups usually book into the semi private weeks. We offer 5 day/6 night and 6 day/7 night packages. We offer a semi private package, which is 20 persons, skiing in two groups of 10, each group with 2 guides, all meals, skis, poles and airport transfers. 5 Day is 80,000 vert. ft of skiing (65,000 guaranteed). 7 day packages is 100,000 vert. ft. of skiing (80,000 guaranteed). Private Group packages are one group of up to 10 guests with exclusive use of lodge, helicopter, terrain and private rooms
Average Vertical: Price of Extra Vertical:
Runs vary in length from 1500 - 4000 vertical feet and are between 9000 and 3000 feet elevation. Daily vertical skied depends on the time of year, snow conditions, terrain chosen and ability of the group but probably averages between 20,000 and 25,000 but we have also skied 50,000 v.ft. days in the spring $28/1000 vertical feet.

Average SNOWPACK is approximately 3 metres. 20 during a semi-private week, 10 during a private week.

We welcome first time heli-skiers and heli-boarders and suggest that as a skier you be a parallel skier comfortable with skiing most of the runs at a major ski area, and as a boarder that you are comfortable boarding in the trees as well as open areas. The guides make every effort to choose runs that will suit your ability and interests and will provide instruction to those who wish it Huge, hand hewn fir logs accent our ranch style lodge. Comfortable bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a spacious games room and lounge, two fireplaces and a family style dining room contribute to a warm and friendly atmosphere.
How guests arrive: The best time to arrive:
We offer a courtesy van transfer for the group, from Prince George to our lodge, and return at the beginning and end of each package. We ask that guests arrive in Prince George no later than 3:45, enabling our shuttle to have them back to the lodge by dinner time. If they are unable to meet the schedule of our bus transfer, we can arrange for a dedicated transfer at an additional charge. The drive from Prince George to Crescent Spur is about 2 hours. We prefer guests to arrive into the airport no later than 3:45 pm, enabling our shuttle to have them back to the lodge by dinner time. It’s about two hours away.
Year-round services: Why Us:
We have an average of 2 down days per SEASON. On these days, we can go into our nearest town (McBride - 35 miles) for curling, or guests may decide to stay in the lodge and relax, play pool, air hockey, ping pong, or enjoy a movie. Internet access is included in the package price. Other lodge amenities : hot tub, massage, sauna, TV. Our guests like to ski with us because they like the idea of only 20 people per week and also the idea of the higher level of service that comes of having two guides per group. They like our terrain, our snow conditions and the small group, intimate atmosphere of our lodge. 16 years in operation. Accreditation of Guides - all guides meet or exceed the requirements of our professional association, the BC Helicopter and Snowcat Skiing Operators Association.
